Maintain the temperature within specified limits. Exceeding the preset temperature can lead to over-burning and charring of the coke, while temperatures below the set point result in reduced output and efficiency.

Continuous monitoring of the fuel and air ratio, along with precise control of the kiln's rotation speed and temperature, is essential for efficient operation.
